Description
ABE Malthoid 2 Ply is an asphaltic waterproofing membrane with a fibre felt carrier, designed for damp-proof coursing in brickwork and general waterproofing between timber and concrete. ABE Malthoid 2 Ply offers high resistance to puncture, self-healing properties, and easy installation. The membrane is coated with fine washed sand to prevent sticking during storage and handling.

- Material: Bitumen-impregnated felt with sand finish.
- Thickness: approx. 1.7mm
- Shelf life: 24 months in sealed packaging below 25°C
- Surface finish: Fine washed sand.
- Application method: Roll out and cut to length; no primer required for DPC use.
- UV protection: Coat with Silvakote if exposed.
- Pliability: No cracking at 25°C on 25mm mandrel.
